Registered Physiotherapist
Basia is an experienced physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Toronto in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science: Physical Therapy. She has an Honours Bachelor of Science: Specialization in Human Kinetics, Minor in Psychology from the University of Guelph (1999) and Masters in Health Management from the McMaster University (2024).
She has been a Fellow with the Canadian Association of Manual and Manipulative Therapists (FCAMPT) since 2010. She is an examiner for the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Basia is passionate about helping people reach their health goals. She uses a blend of specialized skills in her treatment plans: advanced manual therapy, education, neural tissue mobilization, taping, myofascial release, exercise prescription, taping, and acupuncture. She finds that the key to success is identifying the core drivers to her patient’s condition. This empowers her patients to manage their symptoms and return to the activities they love.
In her spare time, Basia loves to be outdoors with her husband, two kids and her dog running, hiking, mountain biking, gardening, playing soccer and traveling. She has played competitive soccer and has completed several long distance races. Her experience also includes working with various sports teams, and with high level athletes including rugby players, soccer players, gymnasts, and hockey players.
